Pop-Up Evening Walk from Stratford to Ilford

Event Type: Group Walk. 

Region: Southern England / London
 
Distance: 6.5 miles
 
Start Time: 18:00
 
Route: Meet Stratford Station by the old train engine in front of the main entrance. An evening stroll through some of East London’s best green spaces (including West Ham Park; Wanstead Flats/Park) in search of The Great Spoon… ending at Ilford Station
 
Notes:  Medium paced (3mph). Expect to finish about 20:15.

Walk with Peter to Petersfield - Haslemere to Petersfield

Event Type: Group Walk. 

Region: Southern England / London
 
Distance: 20 miles
 
Start Time: 9:35
 
Route: Meet at Haslemere Station at 09:35 (suggested train Waterloo 08:30. Arr. Haslemere 09:32). Haslemere, Iping, Nyewood, Petersfield.
 
Notes:  Very pretty walk with around 1500 ft of ascent and mud free on the whole. First half is heavily forested with some steep ups and downs. Second is half fairly flat. Bail out point Liphook 5 miles from the start. Bring picnic and plenty of water as there are no supplies on the route, though there is a Wetherspoons at the end! Medium paced 3mph. Expect to finish about 17:30. Please let me know, via WhatsApp or text (not by email) in advance if you wish to come, ideally the day before so I can update you if there are any necessary changes to travel details or the route.
