NOTICES

1. New members

A warm welcome to new primary member Sam Hodgkiss; and new associate members Ann Robinson and Tara Keeble.

2. Message from Walks Secretary

As we move into spring and realistically hope for better walking weather I look forward to receiving walk suggestions from both experienced and new walk leaders to fill our weekends (and midweek evenings) ahead.

Jerome is keen to expand the available range of our group walks and will be offering walks in new or rarely visited areas.  He has booked to lead some weekend walks a fair distance from London and joint walks with other LDWA groups. Specifically, at present, the weekend 23rd to 25th May (ending in Wiltshire), Saturday 20th June (Wiltshire), Saturday 25th July (Chelmsford) and Saturday 8th August (Cotswolds).  Since these are likely to have limited appeal for London members because of expense and time spent travelling we welcome further walk proposals to coincide with them.  On ideal walking weekends it would be good to be able to offer a choice of contrasting walks so if you have a more local walk in mind for any of these weekends please let me know.

All the best,

Keith
