2. Walk leaders wanted
Meteorological spring is upon us (not that you'd know at the moment) and we are putting together our walks' programme for the next few months. Our recent AGM discussed having a broader range of walk leaders, and so we're inviting you to consider whether there's a walk you could put on for us. We are looking for walks for the weekends of 9/10 May, 6/7 June and 27/28 June to complete the first half of the year. There is plenty of scope also for midweek walks over the next few months, and we are looking to restart our evening walks' programme now the days are getting longer. Our Chair has made a start later this month, but the diary's bare after that. So if there's a walk you'd like to put on for us in any of these categories, our Walks Secretary Keith Mills would be delighted to hear from you at london.walks@ldwa.org.uk. Also, if you have a walk that would be suitable for later in the year, please do get in touch. Further, if you think you'd be able to lead for us but have any uncertainties, our committee would only be to happy to help with advice or mentorship.
