Cyprus to West India staying in East London

Event Type: Group Walk.

Start Time: 9:30
 
Route:  Meet at Cyprus DLR station. This is the first London group walk from Cyprus. The 8.48 DLR from Bank arrives 9.29 at Cyprus - a change at East India may be needed. Meet at the footbridge entrance by the Capital Ring sign on side to Beckton. We walk along docks, rivers & canals & through built up and light industrial areas and parks in East London up to Hackney Marshes then on via Limehouse to West India Quay where there happens to be a pub that has been much frequented by us.
 
Notes: Cafes for coffee/tea en route but bring lunch & drink as well.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
