Hert to Hert

Event Type: Group Walk. 

Region: Southern England / Herts
 
Distance: 20 miles
 
Start Time: 9:40
 
Route:  Meet at Hertford North Station (suggested train Moorgate d. 08:40. Arr. Hertford North 09:34). Pretty and possibly muddy circular walk from Hertford North Station via Ware, Thundridge and Watton at Stone. Possible bail out point Watton at Stone.
 
Notes: Bring picnic, plenty of water and food. Possible tea stop at Watton at Stone. Medium paced 3mph. Expect to finish about 17:15. Please let Leader know, ideally via WhatsApp or text, if you wish to come ideally the day before so he can update you if there are any necessary changes to travel details or the route.

2. Saturday 17th January 2026: Jim Blakelock and Paul Huggins of the BBN group took over from the unavailable Jerome to lead eight walkers (so ten in all) along Jerome's planned route of 16 miles from Ridgemont to Leighton Buzzard.
