Route: Meet at Liverpool Street Station by information boards near platform 10. A chance to complete the City churches challenge with a few surprises added. Aiming to finish Liverpool Street Station 16:45.
 

Notes: Please bring a packed lunch. This is a slow pace walk with many stops at points of interest. This walk is restricted to 12 walkers so check beforehand with Ron whether there are places available.

An M to M adventure: Marks Tey to Manningtree

Route: Meet at Marks Tey Station. Take 08:02 from Liverpool Street. Buy a return to Manningtree

 

Notes: Average pace 2.7 miles per hour. Essex Way, Colne Valley, Stour Valley, St Edmund Way & a tourist “paradise” in Constable country. Anticipate to finish at Manningtree station for the 5.20 train. Picnic stops & woodland facilities during the day. Ice Cream & other such delicacies can be found during the afternoon. Very helpful but not essential to send your name & membership number in advance in case there are last minute changes to arrangements. Text or WhatsApp walk leader Shared with Essex & Herts Group.

Crystal Palace, Norwood Common, Streatham Common (mid-morning stop at Rookery Cafe), Tooting Common, Wandsworth Common (lunch stop at Skylark Cafe @11miles on Dorlcote Rd), Wimbledon Park & Common, Richmond Park, R Thames, Richmond station. Expected finish 17:00 at Richmond Station.
