There are some changes to Peter Aylmer's upcoming walks next week. Monday's start time has changed, and the rail strike affects the walks on both Wednesday and Thursday.  Peter writes:

On Monday evening, we finish in Crystal Palace Park. This closes at 2030, so to avoid being locked in (or out), there's a new start time of 1735. Trains are now 17:07 from St Pancras, 17:16 from Blackfriars, or 17:04 from Victoria to Nunhead.

Wednesday's rail strike affects both Wednesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday, the leader will still be at Bromley South station, bus stop Z, at 11.30am, for bus 358 or 402 to the start, but note that there are no rail services to Bromley South that day. The rail alternative, for those wishing to risk strike day trains, is the 1046 from London Bridge to Orpington and then the 358 bus to Farnborough.

To link the two Wednesday walks together, the leader will walk the four miles between them, mostly using the London Loop, leaving Farnborough around 4.30. Walkers doing both walks will therefore total 20 miles. The evening walk can be reached by the 1726 from London Bridge to Chislehurst, but there will be no trains back from Chislehurst at the end of the walk. The station is served by 162, 269 and R7 buses.

Trains have changed on Thursday too, due to the after-effects of the strike. To reach Coulsdon South, now take the 0941 from St Pancras, 0955 from London Bridge, or 1005 from Victoria.
