This is to announce and ask you to register for this years TV LDWA Xmas Party at 2pm on SUNDAY NOVEMBER 30th at LANE END village hall. The event at this stage is open to registration from primary members of Thames Valley LDWA,  especially those who do social walks, the Marlow Donkey or have volunteered in our events. There are 40 spaces available and if these are not taken by November 20th, as is likely given past turnouts, we will then take bookings for guests (e.g. partners) and from members of other LDWA groups. The non-refundable charge is £5pp and is required to reserve your space : this charge is primarily to make sure you attend and eat the food ordered for you rather than fund the event (see below). To pay this, contact Sarah at tv.treasurer@ldwa.org.uk to get bank transfer details (or pay direct if you have them already, giving your name as reference) . Also copy to Sarah at the above email and to me at thamesvalley.@ldwa.org.uk  so we know you have paid. Alternatively you may pay £5 cash to any committee member on a walk. 

There will be food, fun and games as usual and again this year we have engaged a caterer.  The choices on the day at the Xmas Party are likely to include  Veggie Chilli, Veg Lentil Pie and Beef Lasagne (veggies to choose first!). and Raspberry Cheesecake/Apple Crumble/Fruit Salad .We are not taking food choices in advance  The party will of course be preceded by two walks of different standards, which will shortly be announced on the website.  Christmas jumpers may be worn!

A reminder of course that this event is almost entirely paid for from the proceeds of the Marlow Donley Challenge walk so you may thank all the marshals on that event.
