Forthcoming Social Walks

Normally we aim to have at least one Social walk every Sunday, this will generally be a 20 Mile and or 15 Mile Social Walk.

Walk Leading Opportunities

There are opportunities to lead a Social walk on:-

Other News

Thames Valley 50th birthday celebrations for 2026

At the recent AGM 5 volunteers came forward to organise events and walks for the 50th birthday of the group in 2026.
So far these dates, events and bookings have been made so the dates for your diaries are:-
 
22nd Feb 2026 Founders walk to be led by Anushka Howell.
 
3rd May 2026 Bluebell walk followed by tea. Hambleden Church has been approached.
 
June 2026 Andrew Beck will lead a 50k social walk
 
12th July 2026 Linda Ashwell will organise a fun Kanter around Goring.
 
10th October 2026 will be the highlight of the celebrations with a 15mile walk followed by a delicious curry meal in Remenham Parish Hall.  A keen celebrity walker has already been approached to tell us about some of her experiences on her walks.
 
Friday 6th November 2026.  Skittles evening at the newly refurbished Conservative Club in Henley.  Darts, Snooker and Table Tennis can also be available for us to enjoy. Cheap drinks available from our bar.
 
Sheila Richards is finalising the date for a moon walk and Alison Attard is organising a photographic competition. Both dates to be announced.
 
We look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible onto these events. More details to follow in subsequent newsletters so watch this space.
