Happy New Year to all members.

This is a reminder of the AGM on Sunday 26th January 2025 at Lane End Village Hall, which will start no earlier than 2.30pm and be preceded by the usual fast and slower paced walks Thames Valley LDWA - Pre-AGM walks , starting at 8.30 and 9am respectively. 

Between the end of the walks and the start of the meeting, there be a meal. Shahina is doing her now nationally famous daal curry again, timed for circa 2pm (walks back by this time please). This caters for veggies. Non-curry eaters please let us know and we will lay on some sandwiches or soup. No charge for this.

There will be limited paper copies of these two documents on the day. It would help if some of you could print your own version.

The main issues to be discussed at the meeting will be a search for a new Chair, and up to four other committee members, for which no nominations have been received. We need to fill these posts to meet constitutional requirements, ease the burden on existing committee members and lead us into our 50th anniversary year in 2026. We would particularly like to hear from newer members as most 'oldies' 'have done their time!  We can fit responsibilities to anyones wishes or time availability and there are only three or four committee meetings a year.

We would like to see as many of you as possible at the meeting and secondary members are welcome (though cannot vote )

As an aside, it looks due to circumstances beyond my control (i.e. my daughter getting married!) that the Marlow Donkey in 2025 will be moved to October 12th, which is a correction to the date given in the Annual Report.
