Hi!  We are holding a little picnic get together for members of London LDWA on the evening of the 11th August in Regent’s Park starting at 19:30 (northeast corner of the park close to the public toilets marked on Google).  Everyone is welcome.  Please bring some food and a drink with you.  It’s still best if we don’t share such items.  

I am assured by the park authorities that the public toilets will be open until 20.00.  

We have an option to move onto a nearby pub at 20:30 (The Engineer - https://www.theengineerprimrosehill.co.uk/) .  It has quite a large canal side garden.  I would be grateful if you would let me know if you would like to go on to the pub so that I have an idea of numbers and can make a booking.  london@ldwa.org.uk  will reach me.  

For those who also want to make a bit of a social walk of it, we have two short walks lined up for that evening, both starting at 17:30. These will be led respectively by Gavin and Ali to the meeting point. More details will be released soon about the start locations.
