First off, congratulations and many thanks to the organisers and all the marshals who made Saturday's Founders Challenge such a huge success. Just look at the rave reviews: 'Fabulous event. Thank you for a wonderful day.' ; 'Massive thanks to all the amazing volunteers out and about and everywhere at yesterday’s fabulous event...loved every bit and it was the friendliest one we’ve done to date. Can’t wait to return next year.' ; 'Great event and lovely people - marshals, kitchen, checking in, and everyone else.' 'I really liked the reverse route and a few new bits. Fab day and a big thanks to all marshals, cooks, scanners and everyone else who helped with the event.' ;'A great day and an excellent lunch in the William Bray at half-time. Thank you.'

Moving on, we have two lovely outings on offer this week. On Tuesday the Tarmac Walkers Club is taking to streets a cut above its normal ones, and if you breathe in deeply you will be able to smell Harrods. On Saturday Nigel leads an autumnal saunter in Hampshire that takes in St Swithun's Way. Happy walking!
