No need to spend the evening cleaning the mud off your boots and throwing everything else into the washing machine after this week's walk. It's another chance to pound the pavements on Saturday, when Suzanne is linking rivers, canals, parks and stations in a Wetherspoons-free - and, hopefully, mud-lite - tour of our home city. All the details below.
Meon and Butser (Saturday November 8th) Nigel's walk, which started and finished at Peterborough station, took us up Butser Hill to East Meon, where we had a lovely lunch at the Izaak Walton pub (I recommend the home-made pies). Above: The going was what Gavin describes as 'squelchy and soggy' at times
We all enjoyed ourselves in spite of getting a bit windblown and rain-lashed...
...and it turned out nice again right at the end. Thank you, Nigel, for leading such a great walk. Photos by Gavin: you can see more on our Facebook, as well as some excellent ones by Roderick.
