A perambulation from Petersfield - this week with London LDWA

Having pounded the pavements of our capital city this weekend just gone, we switch to the wilds of Hampshire for our hike this Saturday, with Nigel leading a circular walk taking in Butser Hill and the Meon Valley. All the details below.

All good things must come to an end!

A big thank you to everyone who completed LDWA London Group Members Survey. We have had over 50 responses from our primary members; results are being analysed and there will be a formal report at next year's AGM (Wednesday 13 February at the King & Queen pub, Foley Street W1W 6DL, the same venue as last year) which will then be sent out to all members by email.

The Committee are always open to feedback. If you'd like to get in touch at any time, please email us at london@ldwa.org.uk.

dave wetherspoon odyssey

An extended Wetherspoons Odyssey (Sunday 2nd December)
Proceeding at a pace of 2.5 Wetherspoons an hour, Dave's walk visited - with commendable sobriety - 16 hostelries, starting at Hamilton Hall by Liverpool Street station (above) and ending at The Rocket in Putney. (Below) 1.Gavin's photo captures a unique piece of social history - the oldest public loo in London. Sadly, it was locked, so comfort stops had to wait till the next Wetherspoon's. 2. From ancient to modern - Ian's photo shows No 1 Poultry, designed by Sir James Stirling
