This week we bring you a double dose of God's own county (I speak as an Essex Girl), with Ron as our esteemed leader on both jaunts. The first, on Wednesday, links North Fambridge, Maldon and Althorne, and promises sea walls and a dismantled railway amongst other delights. Saturday brings the seaside, namely Thorpe Bay and Southend, with the lure of a fish and chip supper at the finish. Scroll down for all the details.
