Well, who'd have thunk it? England are through to the World Cup semi-final! This is, of course, the cause not only of much national rejoicing but also the postponement of our Wednesday evening walk, since it clashes with TV's showing of the game against Croatia. But there's still Part 2 of Jerome's London to Brighton series to look forward to on Saturday - just the thing to work off any commiserative hangovers should Our Boys lose or, maybe, just maybe, walk off all the nerves that will precede England's first appearance in a World Cup final since those heady days of 1966. Scroll down for the full details.
Founders Challenge catering
Gordon has appealed in a separate email for volunteers to help with the catering for the Founders' Challenge (Saturday October 13th in case you have forgotten). A group of 3 or 4 people can break this task down into manageable proportions. You will have received the full details in a separate email, but inadvertently Gordon's email address was omitted. You can contact him at gordonparker46@gmail.com
