Dear all,
Some of us may be opening our street doors today with one question foremost on our lips - 'Is winter over yet?' Well, whether or not the baby beast from the East has moved on, we have two great walks to defrost the toes and herald in British Summer Time (yes, really).
On Thursday evening Godfrey will be leading the charge via a - hopefully - blossom-decked Hampstead Heath and Parkland Walk to a welcome Wetherspoon's, and on Saturday Jerome has a splendid Sevenoaks circular in store for us. Just one point - as you will see from the Event Details below, this is a complete replacement of the walk originally planned.
But first - some dates for your diaries.

Lake District Week - Friday 14th September to Friday 21st September
Join Paul Lawrence and Godfrey O’Callaghan in a shared activity week in the Eskdale western area of the Lake District. Accommodation with own room in self-catering house. Main rail links close by. Catering done on a shared basis. In addition to Paul and Godfrey there are three places are available to London Group members. Please note the week will not be covered under the group insurance and anyone joining the party is responsible for themselves.
