Hello once again!
Well the good thing about this time of year is that it's only 23 days left to.. (no - not Christmas but..) the shortest day! So in only three brief weeks, the days will start drawing out and we can look forward once again to the bright, sun-drenched (well drenched in something, anyway) days of summer.
But until then, we've got lots to keep us busy and to help dispel the autumnal gloom.

And first entertainment on our agenda is a curiously-named "hobble" walk being led by Dave on Sunday from Hendon to Golders Green. This 17-miler will take us along part of the Dollis Brook trail, which is an official long distance path which links the two walkers' M25s - the London Loop (on the outside) and the Capital Ring (on the inside). If you'd like to join Dave on this walk through what will undoubtedly be a winter wonderland, just make your way to Hendon Central tube for 09.15 on Sunday.

Sunday's walkers will need to be similarly equipped (well perhaps not)
So, that's all for this week - enjoy those precious few remaining shopping days before Christmas, but do try and make time to escape from the madding crowds and take a tube that's heading as far away from Oxford Street as possible!
