Dear all

Well Angus certainly seems determined to wreak as much havoc as possible to our walks, programme, doesn't he?

Yes, the latest victim is the final stage of next Saturday's walk.   Dave, the walk leader, has recently recce'd the route and has concluded that the last section, to Frant, has become excessively muddy and potentially hazardous.

Therefore the walk will be re-routed to finish at Tunbridge Wells, rather than Frant.   If you have already bought a ticket to Frant (as per my email yesterdasy), don't worry because it will also be valid from Tunbridge Wells and won't have cost you significantly more.   The walk will be about 1 mile shorter than originally planned (at 17.7 miles vs. 18.5)

The updated details of the walk are on the website and are reproduced below.

So - Angus please make haste into the North Sea and make sure that your friend Barbara doesn't decide to put in an appearance until at least next week

Adam
