Hello everybody!
Well with a headline like that, I'm sure you're itching to learn more. What's all this about Heathing and Wilting?
Actually, the only way really to find out will be check out the walks programme, which this week features two excursions of exceptional interest.
But before we get to the walks - an important notice:
Spaces available on "Pop Up" trip to the Lake District - 16-23 July There are two places left on Ron's trip to the Lakes in a couple of weeks time. If you'd be interested in going, please contact Ron Williamson by email at: ronwilliamsonuk@yahoo.co.uk or by phone at: 01702 587128.

So - on to this week's walks!
The first of this week's outings sees us heading out to Hampstead Heath on Wednesday evening. Charles will be leading a circuit of the Heath, including Parliament Hill which offers some of the finest views in London. If you'd like to join this summer evening treat, just meet Charles at 18.00 at Hampstead tube station on Wednesday evening. There is a pub possibility at the end, too.
And then on Saturday, Jerome will be taking us in a rarely-explored (for LDWA London) direction - to Wiltshire. His walk is billed as an 'awayday', but not, I'm sure, one of those dreadful office excursions inevitably featuring break-out groups and team-building exercises. Jerome's awayday will be something altogether more wholesome - offering the delights of the Avon Valley, Dean Hill and Test Way rather than awful windowless meeting rooms, anonymous hotels and flipcharts. So if you'd like to swap your post-it notes for an ordnance survey map, and buffet lunch for a picnic, then ditch the briefcase and head to Salisbury station for 09.45 on Saturday morning. And the 08.20 from Waterloo will get you there with three minutes to spare!
Happy business people enjoying an awayday. This is not what the Wiltshire trip will be like.
Well I think that's quite enough for now. Have a great week, and continue enjoying the summer!
Adam
