Not content with running one trip to the Lakes this summer, as well as Godfrey's trip in June, we're now able to offer you the chance of a second bite at the cherry,with a further "pop up" trip in July.
This later trip is being organised by Ron Williamson for a small group of walkers to a rather luxurious camping barn in the Lake District, in mid - July. He has four places left on his trip and wondered if any LDWA London members would like to join him.
The trip will be running from Sat 16 - Sat 23 July and he's staying at Causeway Foot Farm (click here for details) which is just outside Keswick in the North Lakes. There's great walking in the area, and Ron can arrange to collect you from either Penrith rail station or Keswick bus station.
At just £16 a night for accommodation and all meals, it's a snip.
