London LDWA

Hello everyone!

Yet another Monday reaches us and it's time to anticipate the delights in store from London LDWA this week.   OK so "watery" is stretching it a bit - but both walks on offer this week do offer stretches of the Thames Path along their routes.

The first walk this week is a circular from Richmond on Wednesday.  As well as the Thames Path, Peter's walk promises to visit the "wilder" southern reaches of the park - goodness knows what lurks there but there's only one way to find out.   Yes, you'll just have to make your way to Richmond station at 18.00 on Wednesday evening, and join the expeditionary force.

Our second walk, on Sunday, takes us slightly further afield.   In what is billed as an "easy but longer" walk, Paul will be checking out a 22-mile section of the Thames Path from Radley to Cholsey.   We don't venture into Oxfordshire that often so this is a rare opporunity to visit somewhere new.   If you'd like to join this riverside ramble, you just need to meet Paul at Radley station at 09.20 on Sunday morning.

Well, - that's just about it for now.   I'm in France at the moment, walking some of the less well known paths of the Yonne valley, south of Paris.   It's a bit off the beaten track and well worth a visit once day, if you ever get the chance.

Have another great week and be sure to try and get out to enjoy at least one bit, and preferably two, of the Thames path with London LDWA!
