Well - stand by for a Brace of Bishops!
Yes, over the next couple of weeks, we're giving beautiful Bishop's Stortford a thorough airing. This week, Dave is leading a linear walk to Epping, and then next week, Lonica will be taking a circular walk in the same locale but with a completely different route.
So if you'd like to begin your Hertfordshire Holiday, you'd better jump on board Dave's excursion this Saturday. Just be at Bishop's Stortford station for 09.17 on Saturday ready for this 19-miler which will doubtless manage to squeeze a Wetherspoons or two (or three) in along the way. All the details are at the bottom of this email.
Well it's not actually two bishops, it's the same Bishop twice - but you get the idea

Please note that for the next three weeks, I will be walking the Pennine Way, or at least trying to. So given that I'm not quite certain how easy it wil be to access the internet, the next few weekly updates might be a bit shorter or more erratic than usual.

Meet Bishops Stortford stn (Dep.08.40 London Liverpool Street) A stroll from Bishops Stortford taking in the Stort Navigation in the morning, coffee break at Sawbridgeworth Antiques Centre & lunch at Harlow Wetherspoons (just for a change !). After lunch some pleasant Essex countryside to reach Epping (Central Line)
