Hello and welcome to the week!
I always seem to be saying this, but this week there really is a quite a lot going on with London LDWA.
First of all - this is your final reminder for the forthcoming London LDWA AGM. It's this Thursday, 18 February, at 18:30 in the Perseverance pub, Lamb's Conduit St. And the AGM itself is just the jam in the sandwich between a group walk, being kindly organised by Ron before the AGM, and a group meal afterwards, at the Holborn Pizza Express. Details of Ron's walk can be found by clicking here, whereas the AGM and all the relevant reports, are at this link. Don't forget to let Catherine know if you want to go to the meal afterwards (see AGM link above for Catherine's details)
So come along, make your views known, and meet the galaxy of talent that is the London LDWA group Committee.

Even if the strikes are not cancelled, the walk, AGM and dinner on the 18th will go ahead as planned
Turning to the week's walks.
Firstly, those of you who were awake during the first paragraph will have noted that we've got an extra, mid-week, walk this week. It's a Bloomsbury explorer, being kindly led by Ron on Thursday afternoon, 18 Feb. If you'd like to be there, just check out the fourth longest escalator in western Europe and meet Ron at Angel tube station at 2pm.
And then on Sunday, Peter is leading a circular walk starting and finishing at Borough Green. If you'd like to expore Kent's agrarian landscapes, just "hop" (think about it) on the train from Victoria and be at Borough Green station at 09.30 on Sunday. Please note - the grid reference for Borough Green published in "Strider" is wrong (my fault...) but has been corrected below and on the website. So don't follow your GPS to the location shown in Strider, unless of course you'd rather spend the day in Peckham.

Meet Angel tube. Finish at the Perseverance, Lamb's Conduit St., in time for the AGM A leisurely walk in the Islington/Bloomsbury area starting at 2.00pm from Angel tube station and making time for afternoon tea before finishing at The Perseverance at 17:30
