Hello everyone

In an attempt to make next Sunday's "Roach and Crouch Estuarine Exploration" walk the most-corrected in LDWA history, a number of eagle-eyed aficionados of the National Rail timetable have pointed out that the 08.44 train to Rochford next Sunday actually gets in at 10:00, rather than 09.46 as previously advertised.   This is because there is a bus replacerment service for the last 10 minutes from Hockley:

And, given the slightly later start, you might want to take a torch with you in case it's getting dark by the end of the walk.

By the way I know the Unhelpful Signs competition has now closed, but I did see this rather interesting one this afternoon on the Dales Way from Ribblehead to Sedbergh.   Sounds like a bargain to me.

Nothing but the best in Dentdale

OK so what is a "lush" toilet?
Or for that matter - a Hower?

Hopefully no more corrections this week!

Adam
