The start time and train times given in this week's newsletter, for the walk on Saturday 3rd January, have changed. The new times are given below.

Pitsea to Benfleet via Canvey Island Coastal Path

Event Type: Group Walk.

Start Time: 9:10
 
Route:  Meet at Pitsea railway station.  08:30 from Fenchurch Street arrives 09:09. From Pitsea we walk to Benfleet then over the bridge onto Canvey Island. Circumlocution of Canvey Island then back over the bridge to Benfleet railway station.
 
Notes: Limited facilities. Bring something to eat & drink.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
