Route: Meet at at Hertford North station (suggested train is the 9.52 from Finsbury Park). Sections of the Hertfordshire Way, the Chain Walk & the Stevenage orbital path to finish at Stevenage.
Notes: Picnic stops only. Moderate Pace. This is the third in a pilgrimage set of walks with the aim of reaching Peterborough Cathedral. If intending to come, please notify the walk leader in advance if possible but even on the morning of the walk it is fine.

“A walk with Jane Austen” Alton circular with Surrey

Route: Meet at Alton Railway Station. Suggested train is the 07:54 from Waterloo. There is a large car park at the station. The villages and woodlands around the area of Chawton where Jane Austen lived in the latter part of her life
Notes: Picnic stops only. Moderate pace. If intending to come it would be helpful to notify the walk leader in advance if possible but even on the morning of the walk it is fine. This will be a joint walk for Surrey and London groups.
