Oak Trail Theydon Bois evening walk

Start Time: 18:00
Route: Meet at Theydon Bois tube station on the Central Line. The Oak Trail is a circular walk through open fields and woodland paths of Epping Forest with some gentle inclines.
Notes: Bring food and water for the walk. The walk should take approximately two and a half hours.

A Surrey 3 Peaks Walk

Distance: 22.5 miles
Start Time: 9:15
Route: Box Hill and Westhumble Station (Train departs Waterloo 08.24, Vauxhall 08.28, Clapham Junction 08.33). A circular walk taking in the three Surrey peaks of Box Hill, Leith Hill and Holmwood Hill.
Notes: About 2,500ft of ascent in this walk. Picnic lunch recommended as although lunch will be on Leith Hill the cafe could be busy (on my recce somebody who joined the queue as I started my lunch was still in it when I finished). Shop in Westcott (18 miles) if extra provisions required.
