Evening walk Regents Park to Golders Green

Distance: 7.5 miles
 
Start Time:  18:00
 
Route: Meet at Regents Park Station. A walk to Hampstead Heath and Golders Hill Park including Kenwood House
 
Notes: There is no Wetherspoons at Golders Green. The nearest is the The Beaten Docket at Cricklewood. There is a bus. The walk may take upwards of three hours so a snack and drink should be carried

Didcot to Oxford Linear

Event Type: Group Walk. 

Region: Southern England / London
 
Distance: 20 miles
 
Start Time:  8:55
 
Route: Meet at Didcot Parkway Railway Station: 08:13 GWR from Paddington. Also possible to use the Elizabeth line to Reading and join the train at 08:40. An iron age hill fort with the oldest beech trees in England, a section of Thames path, Oxford Greenbelt Way, villages and woodlands. Mainly flat with some hilly sections. Finish in central Oxford with a tour of some famous buildings.
 
Notes: Picnic stops only. Moderate pace. If intending to come please notify the walk leader by Text message/WhatsApp, in advance if possible but even on the morning of the walk it is fine.
