From Chorleywood to Wendover

Event Type: Group Walk.

Region: Southern England / London

Distance: 21miles

Start Time: 9:15

Route: Meet at Chorleywood Underground Station. Straightforward walk on easy paths with a bit of up and down: Chorleywood - Chesham - Dunsmore - Wendover.

Notes: Journey out on Metropolitan tube to Chorleywood line within Oyster area. Return from Wendover on train to Amersham then change to Metropolitan line back to London. Bring picnic and plenty of water and food. Medium paced 3mph. Expect to finish about 18:00. Please be sure to let leader know if you’re coming no later than 20:00 on 11th July. This is in case the walk needs to be cancelled or amended for any reason and so you can be contacted.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
