Forthcoming Walk

Goring to Didcot Linear

Event Type: Group Walk. 

Region: Southern England / London
 
Distance: 19 miles
 
Start Time:  9:02
 
Route: Meet at Goring & Streatley railway station. Take 08:08 GWR from Paddington. Also possible to use the Elizabeth Line to Reading & join the train at 08:50. Hilly section in the first part of the route with about 500 m of ascent, villages & mainly flat in the second part. Finish at Didcot Parkway station, about 17:00 for many trains to Reading & Paddington.
 
Notes: Picnic stops only. Moderate pace. If intending to come please notify the walk leader by Text message/WhatsApp, in advance if possible but even on the morning of the walk it is fine.

Saturday  21st June: Gavin led a total of 20 members on a 33.2 mile walk from London Bridge to Kew Bridge along London's river and canal paths.
