Eastbourne to Brighton – part of Beach of Dreams

Route: Eastbourne station (train departs London Bridge 07.56, East Croydon 08.10). Please note engineering works means there are no trains between London Victoria and East Croydon over the weekend. For the first of our three days on the Sussex coast we head from the station to Eastbourne Pier, where we pick up the King Charles III England Coast Path & follow it all the way to Brighton. Break points at Seaford (13.5 miles) & Newhaven (16.5 miles) although once we reach Peacehaven between there & the end we run close to the main road which has a regular bus service into Brighton.
Notes: Picnic lunch required. There will be an afternoon break at Mamoosh in Newhaven with an opportunity to experience a virtual Living Coast Undersea Experience in the Ouse Valley.

Brighton to Littlehampton – part of Beach of Dreams

Route: Brighton station (train departs London Bridge 08.09, East Croydon 08.23). Please note engineetring works means there are no trains between London Victoria and East Croydon over the weekend. For the second of our three days along the Sussex coast we'll follow the England Coast Path from Brighton to Littlehampton. Plenty of break points en route but engineering works between Littlehampton and Brighton mean that apart from Worthing you will probably have to catch the 700 Coastliner bus to get to either location.

Littlehampton to Chichester– part of Beach of Dreams

Start Time: 9:55
Route: Littlehampton Station (train departs Victoria 08.04, Clapham Junction 08.11, East Croydon 08.23; change at Barnham). Train from Brighton at 08.58. For the last of our three days on the Sussex coast we follow the England Coast Path through Bognor Regis to Sidlesham Quay before striking inland to the nearest convenient station at Chichester.
