2: Chilterns Trip Easter: leaders needed.
We have a four day adventure in The Chilterns planned for the Easter Weekend (Friday 18th April to Monday 20th April). Jerome has done some research and will be leading the walks on Days 1 and 4. He has also drafted routes for Days 2 and 3 and would like to see new (or relatively new) walk leaders take the lead on these days. These leaders could take the proposed draft route, recce and amend as they see appropriate (Jerome is happy to support the recce if required). They could also devise their own route of about 18-20 miles between the start and end points of the day if they prefer. There is a huge network of footpaths to choose from in the Chilterns.

3: London Group AGM 19th February
The group's AGM will be held at 18:30 for 19:00 Wednesday 19th February 2025 at The Chapel Market Tavern, 58 Penton St, N1 9PZ in their upstairs private room. Please notify the group secretary on london@ldwa.org.uk if you wish to give your apologies or if you plan to attend, and if you are going to stay on after the meeting for a meal.

Route: Harrow & Wealdstone station (either get the 8:54 West Midland train from London Euston, or the 08.39 Southern train from Clapham Junction). Note that the Bakerloo Line will not be running.
Notes: Picnic lunch advised. As this follows the route of the line plenty of scope to join late/leave early as we pass/go close to its stations.

Saturday 8th February 2025: On his debut as walk leader, Andrew Disley led 18 members on a 19 mile walk from Highgate to Woolwich along the Capital Ring.
