Two plaques spotted on Wednesday's walk. Any guesses, from those of you not on the walk, as to where they were located?

2. Thursday evening 29th August: nine members joined Gavin on a walk from Dalston Junction to St Pancras following an indirect twisting route to include many interesting parks and squares. Gavin claimed we walked 8 miles but others though it was a little bit less. But it was definitely more than 2.5 miles since that was the distance "as the crow flies".

Walkers speculated that, in olden days, this could have been useful for tying up cattle when stopping for a tea break on the way to market. It was seen in Market Street Garden.
