London LDWA

Hello everyone

This weekend we're offering a bit of urban expolration, by way of a slight change to our more usual programme of hikes through the wilds(!) of the Home Counties.

So this Sunday, Catherine will be leading a trip through some of London's green spaces, starting with Highgate Wood, but with many others en route.

If you'd like to see a different side of what our capital has to offer, then why not join Catherine at East Finchley tube station at 9:00 am on Sunday, and take it from there?

All the details, as usual, are at the bottom of this email.

By the way, I hope you're all taking the opportunity to check out our walks report section on the website - you can view it quickly just by clicking here

We're trying to keep it up-to-date so there are reports from all this years' walks to check out, including last weekend's.   And there's an especially interesting report from Paul's recent group outing to Liverpool - which you can also download by clicking this link: Liverpool_Weekend_2.pdf

And just as a taster, in case you haven't been on any of our walks lately, here is an example of the type of cerebral and high-brow activities we get up to on our trips:

;High-brow activities in Liverpool..

PS this is not a caption competition, tempting as that may be..

By the way I hope you've all seen Douglas' recent email about First Aid training.  If not, it's lurking somewhere in your inbox from earlier this afternoon - do take a look.

In the meantime, have a great week and enjoy next weekend's Bank Holiday walking

Adam
