A walk in 2 parts. The morning 10 miles will be through the foothills of the Surrey North Downs to lunch in the park at Godalming. The afternoon 10 miles will be a southerly loop from Godalming including autumnal tree colours at the arboretum. Hence there are 3 options: the full 20 miles, the morning only, or the afternoon only. Finish at Godalming, aiming for 16:59 return train
General Notes
Average pace of 2.5 miles per hour. Bring food and drink, picnic stops only, woodland facilities. Come prepared for adventure, the usual variable weather and transport challenges. There may be some overgrown and some muddy paths. Buy returns to Godalming. Very helpful but not essential to send your name & membership number in advance in case there are last minute changes to arrangements. Text or WhatsApp walk leader
