Meet at Canary Wharf, Elizabeth Line (Crossrail Place West Exit Level -1; colourful bridge supports just outside entrance)

This is the last of a series of 5 walks which will be exploring over 50 London parks between Kingston and Abbey Wood. This stage starts with a walk through the regenerated docklands followed by an exploration of Greenwich Park and Blackheath. Finally the Green Chain Walk will be followed to the end of the walk at Lesnes Abbey a short distance from Abbey Wood Station. Finish at Abbey Wood, Elizabeth Line. The halfway point is Blackheath for anyone who wants a shorter walk

An autumn stroll through the City with many stops as we search for some London treasures. Expect to visit a number of buildings, churches, statues etc. & of course the occasional alley. Short in distance but do not expect an early finish; we will aim for 17:30 at the South Bank
