Dear fellow walkers
OK so that's Monday despatched, so it's time to start making plans for the weekend.
After Peter's interesting geneaological exploration of Kent last weekend, this Saturday it really is Jerome's turn - he's taking a linear winter walk through the South Downs.
Note that the details of this walk have changed slightly from the notification in Strider - it's finishing at at Lewes rather than Plumpton. All the up-to-date details are at the bottom of this email. If our recent trips are anything to go by, it's bound to be an exhilarating, blow-the-cobwebs-away type of an outing, well worth making the effort to join.
I'd also like to just remind everyone that Paul's much-vaunted trip to Liverpool in April is definitely going ahead now. But there is still space for a few more to join him, so if you fancy exploring somehere that's a bit off the normal beaten hiking path, click here for all the details.
