NOTICES 

1) New Members Welcome to the following new Primary member: Diane Morgan.   Welcome too to the following new Associate members: Aga Storer, Adam Pode and Alex Tunnicliffe.  Associate members please do share any walks you do in your local area either on the London group Facebook page or direct to me for our Out and About section of the newsletter. 

2) Elephant, Bear and Bull 100 Volunteers Required for this 100. A fun weekend with social walks, as well as supporting the LDWA flagship event. Another 8 marshalls are needed.  Further details are available HERE 

3)  Easter Monday Walk  as a bonus and perhaps a way of walking off all those eggs we have an extra walk on the Monday.    

4) This is a shortened Blather this week, being photo lite.  As always we rely on photos being submitted and for once none were.    Lets keep up the good work for next week.

This is the first of a series of 5 walks which will be exploring over 50 London parks between Kingston and Abbey Wood. This stage explores the highlights of Hampton Court Park, Bushy Park and Richmond Park. Finish at Barnes Station

Meet at exit by southbound platforms at Hassocks (Train departs London Bridge 08.35, East Croydon 08.49)

From Hassocks we go in an easterly direction through Ditchling & Plumpton before ascending onto the South Downs at Blackcap. We then follow the South Downs Way & Sussex Border Path past the Chattri Memorial to Saddlescombe. Then its back over the hills to Hassocks
