2) New Members Welcome to the following new Primary member: Francesca Gowing.  Welcome too to the following new Associate members: Sandy Walkington and Françoise Goul Wheeker.  Associate members please do share any walks you do in your local area either on the London group Facebook page or direct to me for our Out and About section of the newsletter. 

3) Elephant, Bear and Bull 100 Volunteers Required for this 100. A fun weekend with social walks, as well as supporting the LDWA flagship event. Another 8 marshalls are needed.  Further details are available HERE

England Coast Path: Greenhithe to Cliffe

Start from Greenhithe Station

Carrying on from where I left off in January, the recently-opened England Coast path will be followed to Cliffe, where we head inland to reach the disused Thames & Medway Canal, which will be followed back to Gravesend

General Notes
The route once again is unrecced but I'm confident I should be able to follow the route! Please bring a picnic lunch

Purley station (trains depart Victoria 08.38 & Clapham Junction 08.45 or London Bridge 08.40)

A meandering route from Purley through several open spaces takes us the the thrills of summiting Sutton's borough top. More meanders through open spaces take us over Epsom Downs and Ashtead Common to get to Kingston's. Then back across the common to Ashtead station. Several possible break points for those not wanting to do the full route
