A circular walk taking in some local lesser known country paths within the M25. Approximately 1950 ft ascent
General Notes
Picnic lunch in Downe - where drinks can also be purchased. This is a joint walk with the Kent Group
Effingham Junction station KT24 5HJ. Start time consistent with a train arriving from the Guildford direction at 0832 and a train from the Surbiton direction arriving at 0836
The 2nd in the Station Walks series on paths and bridleways south across Effingham Common towards the North Downs, east along the downs and finally swinging north skirting Effingham, Little Bookham returning to the start via Little Bookham Common
General Notes
Undulating terrain at moderate pace. Please bring picnic. This is a joint walk with the Surrey group
