Start the New Year on this varied and informative walk. Of course there will be a quiz to stretch your minds as well as your legs. This will be a gentle introduction to the walking New Year. Note late start and shorter distance. Islington has something for everyone, whatever your interests, as well as loads of classy restaurants. As someone once said if you are bored with Islington you are bored with life (or something like that). Join a genuine native guide who has lived in the borough for half a century. Finish at Farringdon Station. Assistance dogs only please. All genders, ethnicities, social backgrounds, foot sizes etc welcome. As many cafes, pubs, shops may be closed do bring a sandwich. If you would like to partake of a classy breakfast before the walk, do join me around 10am at The Angel Inn (Wetherspoons). It's on the other side of the road to the station next to the Original Angel Inn
