4) A message from a Beckenham based member:
For various reasons, I’m unable to walk long distances at the moment. I’ve tried some ‘normal’ LDWA distances over the summer, but I just don’t have the capacity. Currently I’m aiming for walks of a target distance of around 15 miles. Consequently, I’ve been doing a lot of solo walking. I’d also like to connect with any London members living south of the river - I live in Beckenham - who might like to join me on these shorter distance days, because having some company makes walking more companionable, doesn’t it? I can be contacted either by email at russell.j.bateman@gmail.com or simply call or message me on 07714 243610. Many thanks,Russell
