NOTICES 

1) New Members Welcome to the following new primary member:  Jude Sinfield.  We also welcome the following associate members:  Luke Chetwood, Clare Newall and James Lane.  Associate members please do share any walks you do in your local area either on the London group Facebook page or direct to me for our Out and About section of the newsletter. 

2) A date for your diary:  25th Founders Challenge Walk Saturday 1st October.  Entry limit of 200.   More details here: https://bit.ly/3dvCSJ6

3)) Founders Challenge Request: We are looking for 4 more marshals 1 to be based at Peaslake (9am -11.45) and 3 all day or 6 part day shift Am or PM, based at the HQ at Guildford for refreshments at start and end of the walk, for the busy times of 07:15 - 09:15 and again 14:30 to18:00. 4) Social Walk 17 September 2022.  Unfortunately, this walk is cancelled due to the rail strike on the same day.

Guildford Station (07:23 from London Waterloo)

From Guildford Station, it's a mile to join the official 30-mile route. We'll walk from St.Catherines to Peaslake and on to Tanner sHatch, then travelling through Shere to return to Guildford Station

General Notes
As it is a long route, please bring a packed lunch. We will make stops at the checkpoints on the event, so snacks might be useful. A torch might be needed at the end
