Stars of the Week

Last Walkers Standing
Photo: Gavin Fuller

This weeks constellation of stars (nominated by Gavin) are those who completed the 32.4 mile walk across the South Downs on Saturday.  Carrie Gaston who was the only one who considered it a bit of a stroll completing the route 1.75 hours quicker than the rest of the group.   Amanda Innes (for whom it was the longest walk in one day she has done), Mohammed Salikur Rahman whom we welcomed to the group earlier (on his 2nd LDWA walk, his first as a member), Alan Painter (for whom it was his first walk after completing the Hundred!) and Kevin Pettican.  Well done all.  If you have a nomination for a future star please let me know.
