1) Marshals Needed for the 6th Capital Challenge Saturday 2nd April 2022
Jean O'Reilly is looking for a few more marshals to help out at this year's Capital Challenge (https://www.sientries.co.uk/event.php?elid=Y&event_id=9132). We need about 6 marshals for the start and finish points and 3 for each of the 3 checkpoints. The job is pretty easy but very important: put on a fluorescent vest, stand with a few other marshals in a designated area (most are outdoors, but with nearby shelter, toilets, and sources of sustenance), attract the attention of 200 walkers as they periodically pass by, scan their identity cards, and keep track of them on a paper roster. Hand out food to those who are running low. Cheer those who are getting tired.

Marshals are invited to walk the Capital Challenge route together on Saturday 26 March.

2) LDWA LONDON GROUP ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2022 18:00 for 18:30 Wednesday 16th February 2022 at the University Women’s Club, 2 Audley Square, London W1K 1DB and via Zoom. (Please register with the Secretary if you wish to attend, either in person or via Zoom london@ldwa.org.uk) We were unable last year to have a face to face meeting and it would be lovely to see as many members as possible attend.
