NOTICES

1)  Marshals Needed for the 6th Capital Challenge Saturday 2nd April 2022

Jean O'Reilly is looking for a few more marshals to help out at this year's Capital Challenge (https://www.sientries.co.uk/event.php?elid=Y&event_id=9132). We need about 6 marshals for the start and finish points and 3 for each of the 3 checkpoints. The job is pretty easy but very important:  put on a flourescent vest, stand with a few other marshals in a designated area (most are outdoors, but with nearby shelter, toilets, and sources of sustenance), attract the attention of 200 walkers as they periodically pass by, scan their identity cards, and keep track of them on a paper roster.  Hand out food to those who are running low.  Cheer those who are getting tired.

If you think you can help out, please contact Jean at capitalchallenge@ldwa.org.uk for more details.  No commitment assumed until you say you're on board.

Marshals are invited to walk the Capital Challenge route together on Saturday 26 March
