A short 3 miles south along the Erme valley from Ivybridge in south west Devon to the village of Ermington; the route was comprehensively waymarked.

It is now part of the Two Moors Way/Devon Coast to Coast incorporating the Erme-Plym Trail that takes the same route as this trail.
