Birmingham and Aberystwyth Walk

Ceredigion, Herefordshire, Powys, Shropshire, Staffordshire, W Midlands, Worcestershire

Following canals through the Black Country to Stourbridge it crosses rural Shropshire via the high point of Titterstone Clee to enter Wales at Knighton. Then 25 miles of wild hills and tiny villages take the walker to Rhaeadr, after which the Elan Valley reservoirs are skirted and desolate moorland crossed to Devil?s Bridge. A further 15 miles brings the walker to the coast and journey?s end.

The sole publication with route information is out of print, but copies may be found in local libraries. An old website, plus a YouTube from 2020, still avallable (see links).
