Teme Valley Walk

Herefordshire, Powys, Shropshire, Worcestershire

150 km / 93 miles
A walk tracing the Teme, as close to this often-secretive and rural river as is possible, from its confluence with the Severn and visiting its source south of Newtown, in Mid Wales on Cilfaesty Hill at SO124845. Significant towns on the Teme are Tenbury Wells, Ludlow and Knighton. The Teme is one of the most beautiful and fast-flowing rivers in the country. The route takes to the hills along its course where footpaths, public transport or accommodation needs dictate.
